How to Add a Custom Token in Enkrypt

Enkrypt is a multichain, non-custodial, and open-source web3 browser wallet built by the team behind MEW (MyEtherWallet). With Enkrypt, users and developers can generate accounts, manage tokens and NFTs, and interact with DApps on Ethereum, as well as Substrate and Bitcoin chains. Follow the instructions in this guide in order to add a custom token to Enkrypt!

Unlock your wallet and select the network of your choice. In this example we will add a custom token on the Arbitrum network.

Click the ‘Arrow’ icon on the top right to view your address on the blockchain explorer.

Select the token dropdown menu and select the token you want to add as a custom token.

We will use the ‘DMT’ token for this example. Select the ‘DMT (DMT)’ option from the token list.

This should display how many tokens your wallet is holding and the contract address.

Copy the contract address in the ‘Contract’ field.

Go back to the Enkrypt browser extension and select the Arbitrum network then select the ‘Add custom token’ button at the bottom of the tokens list.

Paste the contract address into the text field and it should automatically show the token information. In this example it shows the ‘DMT’ token and how many are currently in my wallet.

Click ‘Add token’ to add the token as a custom token to your tokens list.

You should now see the token listed in your tokens list.
