Interact with CoreDAO in Enkrypt

Get your Ethereum assets onto CoreDAO to start using web3 with lower fees

Enkrypt is a multichain, non-custodial, and open-source web3 browser wallet built by the team behind MEW (MyEtherWallet). With Enkrypt, users and developers can generate accounts, manage tokens and NFTs, and interact with DApps on CoreDAO, as well as Solana, Bitcoin, Substrate and EVM chains. Follow the instructions in this guide in order to use CoreDAO on Enkrypt!

Layer 2s and scalability networks like CoreDAO are compatible with Ethereum, but you can't just send assets from Ethereum to CoreDAO in a regular transaction. The way to transfer assets between Ethereum and Layer 2s is through applications called bridges.

To start using the CoreDAO network instead of Ethereum, you will need to bridge your assets to CoreDAO.

Bridging your tokens to CoreDAO

First, head over to Core Bridge then click the ‘Connect wallet’ button at the top right.

Core Bridge is a third-party DApp and is not affiliated with MEW in any way. Bridging assets from network to network involves some inherent risk. Please do your research and proceed at your own discretion.

Select the ‘Enkrypt’ option.

On the Enkrypt pop up, select the account you want to connect with then click ‘Connect’.

Click the ‘From’ dropdown to open the network selection menu.

Select the network you want to bridge from. We will select Ethereum for this example.

You can click the ‘To’ dropdown to open the network selection menu but we will leave it on Core Chain for this example.

Click the USDC token (blue and white dollar) icon to open the token selection menu.

Select the token you want to bridge to the Core Chain. We will select the ETH token for this example.

Enter the amount you want to bridge then click ‘Transfer’.

On the Enkrypt pop up, confirm the transaction by clicking ‘Send’.

You should see a pop up at the top right stating your transaction has been submitted.

There will also be a section, under the bridging form, showing your transactions and the time left for the transaction to be confirmed.

Once the transaction is confirmed, the transaction will state ‘Complete’.

You should see your bridged tokens in your Enkrypt wallet now!

If you do not see your token in your wallet, you may need to add it as a custom token. Learn how to add a custom token to Enkrypt here.

Swapping your tokens

First head to Sushiswap then click ‘Connect Wallet’ at the top right.

Disclaimer: Keep in mind Sushiswap is a third-party DApp and is not affiliated with MEW in any way. Using DeFi involves some inherent risk. Please do your research and proceed at your own discretion.

Select the ‘Enkrypt’ option.

On the Enkrypt pop up, select the account you want to connect with then click ‘Connect’.

At the top right of the page, make sure you are on the Core Dao network. You can click the network to dropdown the network list.

Click the ‘Sell’ token dropdown to open the token selection menu.

Select the token you want to swap. We will choose WETH token for this example.

Click the ‘Buy’ token dropdown to open the token selection menu.

Select the token you want to swap to. We will choose the ‘CORE’ token for this example.

Enter the amount you want to swap then click ‘Approve’.

Approve the transaction on the Enkrypt pop up by clicking ‘Send’.

Now you can click ‘Swap’ to swap your tokens.

Review your swap then click ‘Swap WETH for CORE’ to continue.

On the Enkrypt pop up, confirm the transaction by clicking ‘Send’.

Once your transaction is completed, there should be a pop up stating your swap was successful.

You should see your tokens in your Enkrypt wallet.
