How to farm potential Taiko Airdrop
Ready to start farming the potential Taiko airdrop? Look no further than our dedicated Taiko airdrop guide!
Time to complete farm: ~30 minutes
Are you ready to farm the highly anticipated Taiko airdrop but don’t know where to start? You don’t need to be a crypto expert to potentially qualify for a Taiko airdrop. Follow the guide below to learn how to do it in just a few easy steps!
‘Airdrops’ are a way for a project to distribute its tokens or coins to a large number of wallet addresses, often for free or as a reward for early users. Airdrops usually serve a promotional purpose, with the aim of increasing awareness, user adoption, and the distribution of a new cryptocurrency. To potentially qualify for future airdrops, you can hold a certain token, sign up for a specific service, or support a project. While airdrops create excitement and reward loyalty, be cautious and research the project and team to avoid potential scams. To learn more about airdrops, see our articles here:
First things first, you’ll need to add Taiko to Enkrypt as a custom chain. Click on “Manage networks” on the bottom left of your Enkrypt wallet.
Click on the settings buttons on the top right, then click on “Custom network”.
Enter in the details shown below:
After entering in the Taiko RPC details, click on “Add network” and you’re ready to go!
To get started farming, head to https://bridge.taiko.xyz/. Click on “Connect wallet” on the top right of the page.
Select Enkrypt.
Once you’re connected, enter in how much ETH you want to bridge from Ethereum to Taiko. Click “Continue” when you’re ready.
*Bridging from chain to chain is always a security risk. Please continue at your own discretion, and do your own research before bridging assets from one chain to another. *
Your transaction details will be displayed for you to review. If everything looks good, click on “Continue”.
Click on “Bridge”.
After a few minutes, the ETH should appear in your Enkrypt wallet. Make sure you are switched to the Taiko chain to see it.
Next, let's do some swaps on Taiko via iZUMi. Head to https://izumi.finance/home. Click on “Connect wallet”.
Click on “Web3OnBoard”.
Click on “Enkrypt”.
You’re connected! Make sure you’re on Taiko chain by selecting Taiko in the drop down menu on the top right corner of the page.
Enter in how much ETH you want to swap. Swap into USDC and USDT for the next steps in our airdrop farm. Click on “Swap” when you’re ready.
Enkrypt will pop up. Click on “Send”.
Next, we need USDT. Select USDT from the bottom drop down menu and enter in how much you want. Click on “Swap” when you’re ready.
For the last step in our airdrop farm, we want to provide liquidity to Gamma.
Head to https://app.gamma.xyz/discover/uni/taiko. Here you’ll be able to provide liquidity on Taiko via Uniswap liquidity pools on Gamma.
If that sounds overly complicated it’s because it kinda sorta is. Just know that you’re basically providing assets for other people to trade, and earning fees on those trades. You can withdraw your position at any time.
Remember that DeFi involves risks, so, as per usual, don't deposit more than you are prepared to lose.
When you’re ready to proceed, click on “Connect Wallet”.
Select Enkrypt.
Select the USDC-USDT pool. Good thing we already have some USDC and USDT from the swaps earlier!
Click on “Deposit”.
Enter in how much you want to provide. Click on “Deposit”.
And you’re set! You’ll be redirected to the previous page and able to see your total balance.
Below your balance you’ll see your rewards. Come back in some time and start claiming your rewards!
That’s it for now. When airdrop farming, in general the more transactions the better. Remember to come back and do these steps once every 2 weeks or so in order to keep up activity from your wallet. Happy airdrop farming!
