First things first - you’ll need a wallet that supports Scroll, like Enkrypt. For help installing and setting up Enkrypt, click here.
1) Preparation
Head to https://chainlist.org/chain/534353 to add Scroll network to Enkrypt.
Once there, click on "Add to Metamask". Enkrypt will pop-up.
Click "Add network".
After adding Scroll Testnet, your wallet will look similar to the image below.
Next, head to https://goerlifaucet.com for some Goerli ETH. Enter in your address and click on "Send Me ETH".
Once you have your Goerli ETH from the faucet, you need to bridge it over to Scroll Testnet.
Head to https://scroll.io/bridge. Connect your wallet.
Enter in how much ETH you'd like to bridge over from Goerli to Scroll Testnet. Click on "Send ETH to Scroll Alpha Testnet" when you're ready.
The following will pop up, giving you a rough estimate of how long you need to wait for the transaction to complete.
2) Swap on SyncSwap
Once you've successfully bridged your ETH from Goerli to Scroll, you can begin farming on-chain!
First, head to https://syncswap.xyz.
On the top right of the page, click on "era Mainnet" next to the "Connect" button. It'll open a drop-down menu. Click on "Scroll Alpha" in order to switch to Scroll network.
Connect your wallet.
Swap ETH for USDC, or any other asset. Do 5 - 10 swaps.
Because farming for an airdrop is all about interacting with dApps on-chain, the more swaps you do over time the better!
3) Get the "Scroll OG" role
Next, let's get the "Scroll OG" role.
Head to https://guild.xyz/scrollzkp. Click on "Join Guild to get roles".
Connect the following accounts in order to join Scroll's Guild.
Once you've successfully joined Guild, follow @Scroll_ZKP and @BuildWithScroll on X (formerly known as Twitter), and verify yourself in the Scroll Discord.
You'll be rewarded with the "Scroll OG" role in Guild.
4) Interact with AAVE on Scroll
AAVE has already integrated Scroll Testnet. Let's do some transactions on AAVE!
Head to https://app.aave.com.
On the top right, click on the gear and toggle Testnet mode on.
Connect your wallet.
Switch to "Scroll Alpha" by clicking on the arrow next to "Ethereum Market".
Once you're on the correct network, click on "Supply".
Enter in how much ETH you want to supply.
Click on "Supply ETH".
After you've supplied the ETH, withdraw it! We want to interact with the Scroll Testnet as much as possible, so the more transactions the merrier.
5) Buy an NFT
Now lets buy an NFT on the Scroll Testnet.
Head to https://testnet.zonic.app. Connect your wallet.
Make sure you're on Scroll by clicking on the little Scroll icon.
From here, buy any NFT you'd like!
6) Create an NFT collection
For the last activity, create a free NFT collection!
Head to https://nfts2me.com/create/edition/. Connect your wallet.
Fill in the fields and upload any picture.
Click on "Create Collection".
Scroll down and click on "Deploy to Scroll Testnet".
You'll know you did it right when you're redirected to the following page!
As we learned from the Arbitrum airdrop, amount of transactions done on-chain will most likely come into play. Most farmers recommend doing multiple contract interactions over the course of many days in order to maximize your chances of an airdrop. The more the better. Happy farming!
