Bridge From Ethereum to Scroll on Enkrypt
Ready to bridge your assets to Scroll Network using Enkrypt? Follow our step-by-step guide here!
Get your Ethereum assets onto Scroll to start using web3 with lower fees
Enkrypt is a multichain, non-custodial, and open-source web3 browser wallet built by the team behind MEW (MyEtherWallet). With Enkrypt, users and developers can generate accounts, manage tokens and NFTs, and interact with DApps on Scroll, as well as Substrate and Bitcoin chains. Follow the instructions in this guide in order to bridge to Scroll!
Layer 2s and scalability networks like Scroll are compatible with Ethereum, but you can't just send assets from Ethereum to Scroll in a regular transaction. The way to transfer assets between Ethereum and Layer 2s is through applications called bridges.
To start trading tokens on Scroll instead of Ethereum, bridge your assets to the Scroll network.
Enabling Scroll Network
Unlock your Enkrypt wallet then select ‘Manage networks’ at the bottom left of the extension.
Type ‘Scroll’ in the search bar and enable the Scroll network.
Now you are ready to Bridge your ETH to Scroll!
Bridging ETH to Scroll

Select the ‘DApps’ option on the bottom right to view the available DApps on Scroll. Then select ‘Symbiosis’.
Click ‘Connect wallet’ on the top right or at the bottom of the page.
Select the ‘Metamask’ option to connect.
The MetaMask option works because Enkrypt supports the same connection as MetaMask.
On the Enkrypt pop up, select the wallet you want to connect with then select the ‘Connect’ button.

Select the Ethereum icon on the ‘To’ field to open the token selection menu.
Select the token you want to receive on the Scroll network.
For this example we will choose ETH on the Scroll network.
Enter the amount you want to bridge over to Scroll then select ‘Swap’.
Confirm the transaction by selecting ‘Send’ on the Enkrypt pop up.
Once the transaction has been confirmed, you will need to wait for the transaction to be ‘mined’.
Once the transaction is ‘mined’ then you will need to wait for the transaction to get 12 confirmations.
Once the transaction receives 12 confirmations, the bridging process is completed.
You will be able to view the ETH on Enkrypt on the Scroll network.
